Charges filed against Current CEO Schanzer by Ex COO Nancy Mozzachio
CEO Bruce Schanzer is being accused of sexual harassment and pay discrimination charges by the company’s former Chief Operating Officer Nancy H Mozzachio. The decision whether of these charges is in the hands of a judge in Brooklyn.
Aside from smirking at women at the workplace, CEO Schanzer is also giving out malicious comments according to Nancy Mozzachio. Nancy also claims that CEO Schanzer he has made some unfit commentary about her breasts and maliciously calling her “babe”. Nancy also shared an experience she had with the current CEO Schanzer wherein she was drinking a coffee from Dunkin Donuts where he made a an awful remark about bringing some Double Ds to the workplace. Nancy was then fired from the company as COO after the lawsuit has been filed. She was supposed to have a meeting but it was canceled and after she was fired as Chief Operating Officer.
It was in the year 2015 when an outside investigator decided to open up the case, that’s also the time where Cedar Realty started probing on the said allegations. However, Nancy stated the accusations of the female employees who were experienced the same harassment as well were never looked into by the investigators. There was an employee of the said company that went to Wall Street Journal to help spread her experience with Schanzer; according to her- she was asked by the CEO what color her underwear is. For those complainants to keep their mouth shut, Cedar Realty has made a decision to pay them for the damages Schanzer has made.
The former Chief Operating Officer is popular for her booming career in Cedar Realty. Starting her early years in the company last 2003 and 2004 as the Director for Leasing and Vice President for Leasing up until she has been promoted as Chief Operating Officer in the year 2004.
